Helping Hands Community has 2 residential group home locations. Our homes are integrated into the community, well maintained and very much feel like home.

For adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, a group home isn't just a place to lay one's head. It's their personal space, where we as providers offer enjoyment, engagement and passion along with comfort, stability and support.

We proudly support adults with a range of intellectual and developmental disabilities, including:

- Autism
- Developmental disabilities
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Other intellectual disabilities

In Helping Hands' residential group homes, you can be sure your loved one is receiving:

- 24-hour supervision
- Assistance with personal care: dressing, grooming, and bathing
- Daily living skills: meal preparation and shopping
- Health and wellness support: medication assistance, appointment scheduling, and healthy lifestyle habits
- Independent living skills: money management and transportation to appointments
- Community outings

Not only will residents receive assistance with daily living, but also gain valuable friendships in a place where they feel truly comfortable and belong.

Adult Day Programs

At Helping Hands Community, we love building independence, cultivating creativity and providing an active, fun and safe space for your family member or loved one during the day.

Our mission is to support the people we serve and fulfill all their specific needs. At Helping Hands Community, we've created a stimulating environment for your loved one. We offer every individual the opportunity to learn independent living skills including self-care and hygiene, as well as discuss current events happening in the world and more locally in our own communities.

We strive to promote growth and self-esteem in each member of our day program. Our staff is dedicated to ensuring that every participant can thrive in our environment through an array of guided activities such as:

- Physical activities (indoor and outdoor)
- Social games and activities (large or small groups)
- Brain-building and problem-solving activities
- Sensory and music activities
- Crafts and art through a variety of mediums

Our Adult Day Programs operate from 8:30am – 2:30pm.
